For Clinicians — Referring a Patient to LVBH

A collaborative referral for adult telepsychiatry in Massachusetts

Luminous Vitality Behavioral Health is the solo private practice of Ronald Lee, MD, an ABPN board-certified adult psychiatrist providing medication management via telepsychiatry to adults (18+) across Massachusetts. Dr. Lee completed a Harvard-affiliated psychiatry residency (PGY-2 through PGY-4).

If you are a therapist, primary-care clinician, or specialist looking for a psychiatric prescriber for an adult patient, referrals are welcome.

Who Dr. Lee is a good fit for

The focus is psychiatric medication management delivered by secure telepsychiatry to Massachusetts residents, ages 18 and up.

Referrals for adult patients located in Florida are also welcome — Dr. Lee is licensed in Florida as well, and care is delivered through the same secure telehealth model.

Therapy stays with you

Dr. Lee does not compete for your therapy relationship. When a patient needs psychotherapy, he refers out — the referring clinician keeps the therapy work, and Dr. Lee handles the medication side. The intent is collaborative, not competitive: your patient keeps their existing care team and adds a psychiatric prescriber.

The practice model (private pay / out-of-network)

LVBH is a private-pay, out-of-network practice. Patients pay at the time of service, and the practice provides superbills (itemized receipts with CPT codes) that patients may submit to their own plan for possible reimbursement.

PPO and POS plans commonly reimburse part of out-of-network care after your out-of-network deductible; EPO and HMO plans usually do not cover out-of-network — verify with your plan. Reimbursement varies and is not guaranteed.

Fees: $400 initial evaluation / $250 follow-up.

There’s no referral portal or paperwork on your end — pointing the patient to the booking page or phone number is enough. The patient completes intake and scheduling directly with the practice.
