Fees &Insurance

Fee update — effective October 1, 2026: Beginning October 1, 2026, the fee for an initial psychiatric evaluation will be $450, and the fee for a follow-up visit will be $300. Current fees — $400 initial evaluation / $250 follow-up — remain in effect for all visits through September 30, 2026. As always, we provide an itemized superbill after each visit that you can submit to your plan for possible out-of-network reimbursement; reimbursement varies and is not guaranteed — verify coverage with your plan.

Fees&Insurance: How to Submit For Reimbursement Through Insurance

Though I require full payment at the time of service, many patients with Out Of Network (OON) benefits choose to submit claims for reimbursement to their health insurance company. Deductibles and co-pays may apply. PPO and POS plans commonly reimburse part of out-of-network care after your out-of-network deductible; EPO and HMO plans usually do not cover out-of-network — verify with your plan. Reimbursement varies and is not guaranteed.

For a step-by-step walkthrough, read our guide to out-of-network superbill reimbursement in Massachusetts.

Additionally, there may be a difference between my fee and the allowable fee determined by your OON plan. Please contact your insurance company directly beforehand for information on submitting reimbursement requests for OON service (see below for guidance).

There is an app Reimbursify (IOS/Android) to electronically take the receipt (aka a “super-bill”) I provide for quickest electronic submission to your insurance company, assuming OON reimbursement, shortly following each visit.
