Telepsychiatry for Cambridge — how it actually works here
To be clear up front: LVBH does not have a brick-and-mortar office in Cambridge. Care is delivered entirely by secure, HIPAA-appropriate video. That is a feature, not a limitation — it removes the two things Cambridge residents most often cite as barriers to seeing a psychiatrist: the commute and the wait for a physical appointment slot.
Because Dr. Lee is licensed in Massachusetts, you may be seen from anywhere in the Commonwealth — you simply need to be physically present in Massachusetts during each appointment (a state-licensure requirement, not a preference). For a Cambridge resident, that usually means a private video visit from your own apartment, a Harvard or MIT graduate-housing unit, or a closed office at work over a lunch break.

- Start with a free 15-minute consult to confirm we are the right fit — no charge, no obligation.
- Complete a comprehensive initial evaluation by secure video with Dr. Lee (not a form or an intake coordinator).
- Discuss a plan together — which may or may not include medication.
- Continue with follow-up visits by video as often as your care requires, all from wherever you are in Massachusetts.
You need a private space, a device with a camera, and to be physically located in Massachusetts at visit time. That’s it.

- We provide superbills you can submit to your plan for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
